But at the same time, maybe that´s over the top anyways, given the inherent flaws of a PSG like cabinet drop and non-true returns. My friend is a music teacher and claimed that he can tune his guitars with the ear like no tuner can.

"Pop-less true bypass" makes it possible to tune or mute at any point in the show without worrying about a big "chunk" sound coming through foh.

With pedal steel (or any instrument with a pickup) you'd be plugging straight in by using a second output on your vol pedal, splitting the signal somewhere else in the chain, or just unplugging from the amp and going into the tuner when you need to.

Mar 29, 2012 · The more I use the iPhone/iPod app called TuneUp, the more I like it. It appears that it has tweak-able tunings so you can go in and edit and sweeten it up as you wish. This app is made by/for PlanetWaves. The strobe tuner looks like the dial on the TurboTuner pedal.
