The method to obtain the green pikmin was just to leave a pikmin planted in the ground for enough time until the transformation occur. The biggest and most noticable feature of this pikmin is its two stems, one on his head like usual, the other on its back, as you can see on this image (wich was part of the article if i'm correct).

He was a 2nd captain from Pikmin 1 known for his unfunny and often offensive one-liners (and being a green reskin of Olimar). The New Play Control and 1+2 versions on Wii and Switch respectively removed him for those reasons. In actuality, Fiddlebert is a joke OC in the same vein as Scripulous Fingore from New Soup or Graggle Simpson.

Apr 16, 2019 · The Green Pikmin or Weed Pikmin (because it grows so fast) has a second stalk from which a new Green Pikmin. Great for those long journeys these Pikmin grow new ones at a fast rate. On top of that the time they take to bloom into a flower is also cut in half.
