Feb 26, 2024 · The Glock 26 weighs 19.72 oz. empty and 26.07 loaded. The Glock 43X weighs 18.70 oz. empty and 23.07 loaded. In addition it has the slim frame slide. I am considering trying the stick-on backstrap that is advertised on the forum to see what difference the longer trigger reach might mean.

I have an old Glock 35 with the smooth curved shoe that I have always loved. The grooved 43X shoe has got to go. I’ve read for days about trigger options.

Feb 2, 2025 · As for the mags, I've had my 43x (non-MOS) for about 6 months now. The mags are still hard to load but the mag loader they include helps a ton. That's normal with the 43x mags. I've only had 1 malfunction in my 43x that I fully believe was ammo related. Not another hiccup since, I've tried to replicate the malfunction and wasn't able to.

Apr 22, 2019 · I have the 43 - 43x franken and a 365 I too didnt care for the 6 rd put tt +2 extensions but they would jamb on last round sometimes, I bought a lower receiver from gun broker for the 43x and now I really like it, I have 10k rounds thru my 12 round 365 and it's a great gun with no issues but I just like the feel of the 43x better.
Glock 43X Trigger Shoe Upgrade
Mar 7, 2025 · I bought the custom OEM shoe from Jonny Glock. That is basically the OEM trigger for a regular Glock 19 for example, but added an adjustable screw to set the initial distance and reduce the trigger travel if you like. I just installed last week and did 50 rounds at the gun range. All the problems of the OEM trigger are gone!

What you change on the 43x can be very personal. While there is "nothing wrong" with a stock Glock, there are a number of refinements that can make it smoother and more comfortable to shoot.
