Dec 12, 2023 · I have an EAA Witness Elite in 10 MM a fine, hammer-fired, accurate, heavy firearm. I have XDM's 5.25 and 4.5 in 10 MM, favorites overall. I have G-20 and G-29 Gen 4's. The 20 is good but has a fat grip the 29 has a Fat, short grip which to me is worse than the 20. I can shoot the 29 just fine, but it is still bulky for concealed carry.

Jan 6, 2024 · Shooting a Glock 29 next to a Glock 30 it really depends on the ammo. Plinking or target ammo at low velocity ie 10 MM, 180 grain FP at 1050 FPS compared to a 45 ACP 200 grain SWC they are very similar in recoil and recovery time.

Jul 23, 2012 · The sf grip is 3 mm shorter than the 29 making the trigger reach easier for those of us with smaller hands. The ejector housing is also different than the standard and not interchangable. All else is the same.

Sep 7, 2012 · I have had a Glock 29 for many years. Lots of power in a small package. Both the 180 and 200 grain XTP's are good loads. If I had to pick one over the other it would be the 200 grain. In penetration testing the 200 grain XTP does pretty well for a HP.

Apr 30, 2018 · Now I carry my G20 or G40 when I'm in the woods. If I carry a Glock during my time around town it's my 27. The 29 still works for me though. I still like it. It was good to me and mine when I needed it to be. I'm planning on sending it down Glock and put on Glock night sights with any current changes they would like to do.
