Nov 16, 2024 · I am also using OEM Glock 21 mags. With the firearm unloaded everything works great. The slide pulls back, sets the trigger, and after I press the trigger I cycle the slide and the trigger resets. So I take the firearm out to the back yard and put a loaded, OEM Glock magazine into it and cycle the slide.

Sep 14, 2008 · The glock rail because, as mentioned, it fits my old holsters and I don't see an advantage of the larger PIC rail anyway. The non-ambi mag release because then my older 21 mags work in my new SF. If I'd have had zero older 21 mags, I'd have still gotten the non-ambi because a) I'm right handed, and b) older mags will still work in it. YMMV.

Jun 15, 2024 · I'm running Timney's full trigger system in my 20/21/40/41's or the gen 5 trigger housings and aluminum short pull trigger shoes in those without the Timney. I install pre and post travel grub screws in the trigger housing to reduce the initial travel and any over travel while keeping it still in the range of being drop safe.

I carry a glock 21 24/7 365 days a year. Covers up in the summer with just T's and jeans. I carry a 1911 for a month or so and go back to the g21 and it's like feather compared to the 1911. But I love 1911's and need to carry one every now and then.:rofl: I now have started to carry a 1911 even more than the glock21.

Apr 2, 2022 · The Glock 21 is a durable pistol capable of lasting for several hundred thousand rounds. It was my duty pistol the last 20 years or so of my career and we had pistols in training with over 300k+ rounds on them. Nothing at all against the 1911, but in a true 'situation' I'll take the Glock every time.
