It is the first prom/formal dance episode on Glee. The episode was directed by Eric Stoltz and written by Ian Brennan. The episode starts with Jacob Ben Israel interviewing Puck about the competition for Prom King and Queen, accusing him that he doesn't seem as masculine since he started dating Lauren.

Dancing Queen by ABBA is featured in Prom Queen, the twentieth episode of Season Two. It is sung by Mercedes and Santana. During their Junior Prom, Karofsky was crowned Prom King and Kurt was crowned Prom Queen, which was set up as a mean joke by the other students.

Rachel and Jessy duet, dancing queen and jar of hearts, were great song selections. I love that Rachel didn't go alone to the prom and that Jessy told her that hurting her was his biggest regret. The scene with Rachel and Finn by the lockers was one of my favorites.

Jun 14, 2020 · One of my favorite scenes of any episode, is when Santana and Mercedes sing Dancing Queen at prom. It's one of my favorite glee songs and it fits the end of the episode perfectly.
