George Masangkay Canseco (April 23, 1934 – November 19, 2004) was a Filipino composer and former politician. He composed numerous popular Filipino songs.

George Canseco was a leading Filipino song composer. He is regarded by music critics as one of the best sentimental music maker of his time. His music has become part of the ground on which Original Pilipino Music stand on.

George Canseco was born on April 23, 1934 in Naic, Cavite, Philippines. He was a composer and actor, known for Dapat ka bang mahalin? (1984), Pagputi ng uwak... Pag-itim ng tagak (1978) and I Will Wait for You in Heaven (1991). He died on November 19, 2004 in Manila, Philippines.
