The Generation 4 car was the NASCAR vehicle generation that was used in the NASCAR Cup Series full-time from 1992 to 2007 and part-time in 2008, [1] in the Busch/Nationwide Series until 2010, and in the ARCA Racing Series until 2017.

Oct 18, 2017 · Doing custom paints for gen 6 cars in iRacing made me realize how asymmetrical they are. You can never copy and paste a design from one side to the other and have it be identical.

Jan 15, 2018 · Can someone explain the differences in the Gen 4 cars they ran at various tracks, and why they ran them? I know it sounds like a n00b question, but I always noticed a difference in the body of the cars, but never understood WHY they looked different.

Mar 2, 2023 · I think Gen 4 had the most variations of any gen. Gen 5 only had 3: winged, wingless 2010 version, and the sleeker 2011 & 2012 cars. Gen 6 had 2 - OG and the 2019 - 2021 version. Gen 3 had like 2 also.

It had a top speed of around 200 mph and could accelerate from 0-60 mph in around 3 seconds. The exterior of the Charger NASCAR was designed for aerodynamic efficiency, with a low profile and sleek lines to reduce wind resistance. The car featured a large rear wing to generate downforce and improve traction at high speeds.

Nov 19, 2024 · This is my concept of what gen 4 cars would drive like if NASCAR stuck with it instead of the messes that were the COT and the Gen 6 cars. It's got quite a few changes from 2007, but I think I've maintained the spirit of those cars in a more modern setting.
