It has a wide therapeutic index, with doses in excess of 8000 mg/kg failing to cause a fatal reaction in rats.

Chew 1-2 tablets up to three times daily or as directed by your healthcare provider. If you are pregnant or nursing, consult your healthcare provider before use.

Gabatrex 400mg is used to help control partial seizures (convulsions) in the treatment of epilepsy. Gabatrex 400mg cannot cure epilepsy and will only work to control seizures for as long as you continue to take it. Gabatrex 400mg is also used in adults to manage a condition called postherpetic neuralgia, which is pain that occurs after shingles.

Gabatrex indicated for treatment of neuropathic pain (chronic pain caused by nerve damage) after herpes or due to diabetes in adults.
