Emotes are chat commands that cause the player's character to perform an animation; a description of the animation appears in the emote chat channel. They cannot be used underwater. The /emotelist command will display a list of basic emotes in chat. Each emote is listed below with the corresponding chat-window text.

Mar 18, 2025 · New emotes just dropped on the Gemstone, what do you all think of them? ArenaNet NEEDS to add these new specific emotes to the Homestead Armour Display Cases! They would go perfect for displaying your armours in fun ways 🙂. Not my cup of tea for emotes but glad for those who like them.

During "Talk to Rama at the training grounds", look for Gorrik at the Obstacle Course in the Training Grounds.

Jan 8, 2018 · Use skills which create visual effect and/or lets your character pose change. Take as many screenshots as possible during the animation. Take you time selecting the best.

Of course the Norn would pose, the Asura would cheer and the dab is a little silly, and the Sylvari are light and springy enough to make a jump and a flip like that. If you want a more traditional 'heroic' pose, there's always the chair you get for having a 7 year old account; that allows your character to pose on a rock.
