Zoro and Sanji have to work together, Chopper gets taken away for a bit, and Usopp even helps Luffy with his fight against Foxy (that afro came in handy). Robin had also only been a member for one arc, and right before that she had been an enemy.

Sep 2, 2022 · Either way there's no reason to subject yourself to Foxy's BS when you could be enjoying Water 7, which is widely considered one of the greatest arcs in the entire series. Also if you need the comedic rest between Skypia and Water 7, the G8 anime arc is far superior to Foxy.

Mar 20, 2020 · Robin is captured by the Foxy Pirates because of that. The second round was "red-light green-light", in which Luffy lost Chopper again to the Foxy Pirates. Basically the only rounds you should watch are 1. rowboat race with Robin, Nami and Usopp, 2. Sanji and Zoro in the Groggy ring match, 3. Luffy and Foxy (I won't spoil).

Dec 26, 2018 · As others have said, Foxy Pirates don't really matter at all and nothing from their arc had much of a consequence later in the story. The real point is to introduce davyback fights as a way for pirates to settle disputes.

Jan 15, 2015 · This particular arc is riddled with filler than split it up. The most important parts (by that I mean canon) are the long ring long land race, the ball game with Zoro and Sanji and the final fight between Luffy and Foxy. every other event in between, feel free to skip.

If the Foxy pirates are the readers, who are expecting Luffy to lose a crew member, Luffy's declaration is simply saying directly to the reader: DON'T WORRY, I WILL FIGHT TO KEEP ALL OF MY CREW MEMBERS UNTIL MY DYING BREATH. And the arc that came immediately after that are basically design to destroy his crew. It tries to take away Usopp, Robin.

Ok so I recently learned Foxy the silver fox captain of the foxy pirates wasn't filler and also that alot of people didn't like that arc because it didn't further the plot or really do much for Luffy and his crew, butttt Oda is a man who loves to foreshadow and so my theory is that he was introducing us to that game (i forgot the name of it).
