A Forever Home (AFH) is a foster-based rescue for all breeds, sizes, and ages. This means that we provide temporary homes (foster homes) for each litter or dog that we bring to our area. We ask our foster families to keep the dogs safe, fed, healthy, and loved until they find permanent adoptive homes.

A Forever-Home Rescue Foundation is a non-profit dog rescue group that operates in the Northern Virginia / Washington Metropolitan area. We strive to make quality dogs available for adoption and do our best to match prospective adopters with the right animal!
