Mar 16, 2008 · I own a 65 Ranchero with a factory 289. It seems that almost everytime I listened to somebody say" anything that fits a Mustang, fits a falcon" it didn't. Mainly suspension. I have a set of 5 leaf performance springs with exactly 10 feet of use on them. Sure they "fit" but went lowrider low as some as the car moved.

In 1960 only Ford sold Frontenacs through Mercury dealers till the Comet was made available in Canada. There was NO Frontenac Falcon type Ranchero then or later as a Meteor. This car is made up.
