Sep 19, 2018 · ford 7000 after sitting for days is hard to start.It will start right off at first then stops.It will start after cranking off and on for a couple of minutes.Works fine after and starts fine till it sits for a few days.Could it be the lift pump? Thanks for any info.

Feb 2, 2018 · Go to the Ford New Holland transmission parts diagram and pay attention to part #70 and focus on the actuating arm and linkage once you know the hydraulic cylinder is properly pushing it according to the repair manual. Usual post rebuild issue is the hydraulic PTO control valve is leaking or the linkage to that valve is not properly adjusted.

May 6, 2019 · I am trying to change the oil in the simms injection pump of my ford 7000.I can,t loosen the filler nut on top of the pump using a 15/16 box end wrench ,i have a long wrench and have applied lots of force but no luck.I was wondering if if its possible to put the oil in the level hole using an oil can or squeeze bulb etc ,Thanks

You can get UTF in 5 gallon buckets at Tractor Supply Stores, auto parts stores, Walmart, etc. Before buying, check the label to see that it meets Ford lubricant spec 134D. Attached a parts diagram of your power steering pump.
