May 19, 2020 · When in waste burner where the burner glown in very strong yellow and red, the shader has no effect and everything around the burner casts as strong AO as anything else. Confirmed this by desaturating the picture first before applying remove fog and AO and then the shader had clear effect.

If you see deep shadows in the clouds then reduce this. If the game has long, clear views then increase it. Darker smoke or fog near the camera can still be a problem.

Jun 9, 2022 · When you are in full UI mode the depth value is obviously different then in full 3D and this shader could benefit from option "Depth cutoff" that check if max depth is too small and dont render fog (i.e. in UI mode).

Jan 2, 2015 · No atmospheric scattering, height fog, unreal 4 stuff. You don't need camera position for DoF right? To my uneducated mind this looks so much like the DoF shader. I would be happy with: fog color (near / far color as a plus); start distance (can go to negative values); end distance; opacity and that's it.
