Jan 8, 2008 · I bought a Ferret 50 cal upper to go onto my AR15 lower. Unfortunately in Canada, being on anAR15 lower makes the rig a restricted rifle, so can only be used at approved ranges. I have built another lower that has solved this problem. Back to the question, the recoil is very light, the accuracy is pretty good.

Jun 1, 2009 · I have done this on many of them and they have all performed EXTREMELY well after rebuilding. Its hard to consider purchasing a rifle of this price just to tear it down and rebarrel it but if your after real accuracy, it can be done with the AR-50. I would say average price for an AR-50 will be around $3100-$3300.
