Aug 22, 2012 · 16A is the rear mounted mower for the old A. The Super A used the A-21. As already mentioned, there were several semi-mounted that can be used on the Super A.

I have a Model 16A rear mount Sickle Bar Mower that I picked up (from another tractor I got) and would now like to put it on the Super A. I know it is made for the "A". My Super A has the bolts (Studs) already in the mounting holes on the back, were the "A" does not.

Scotty Msartin (great guy, by the way) gave me a 16A sickle bar mower for my Farmall A. Hoever, its missing the entire pitman arm assembly. ANybody know where I can source a used/new complete pitman arm assembly for a 16A sickle bar mower?

May 27, 2021 · I have an A which also had a 16-A sickle mower on it. Used it the last couple of seasons but grew tired of the manual lift. Last June I picked up this 1950 Super A at an auction for $125.

The mower shown in your pictures is a No.16A or B because the drive shaft shield is mounted on it's side. The No.12 mower had an enclosed gear drive to the pitman as did the original No.25 semi-mounted mowers.
