All outer sleeves bear the colour code, spelling "FAC 73 Blue Monday And The Beach New Order". There is a common misconception that Factory lost money on the release due to the elaborate sleeve design.

The following is a list of items with recorded Factory Records numbers. The list primarily consists of music releases but also includes promotional graphics, film, etc. However, the list was not confined to creative output. A party (FAC 83), a lawsuit (FAC 61) and a cat (FAC 191) appear on the list along with other miscellany.

Jun 3, 2013 · Instead the legend “FAC 73 BLUE MONDAY AND THE BEACH NEW ORDER” is represented in code by a series of coloured blocks. The key enabling this to be deciphered was printed on the back sleeve of the album, Power, Corruption & Lies.

I’ve gone by “fac_73” on Instagram and a multitude of other places online for a while now. I’ve been drawing and creating since I was young enough to remember. Drawing comics, ink and Sharpie art, editing photos and videos, tons and tons of digital art and, lately, digital poster and graphic design as well as t-shirt design.

I have this version in diecut sleeve with black inner sleeve. It is mis-labelled. The side stamped "FAC 73 A3 GG Pounda Ta1pe WHERE'S MURDER?" is labelled as the track "The Beach" (it actually plays "Blue Monday"). The side stamped "FAC 73 B3 GG I SAID WHERE'S MURDER?" is labelled as "Blue Monday" (it actually plays "The Beach").
