Aphmau is the Royal Puppetmaster for the Empress of Aht Urhgan, although there is more to her than meets the eye. She is a key character in the Final Fantasy XI expansion Treasures of Aht Urhgan.

Examine the Imperial Whitegate at Aht Urhgan Whitegate L-8 & L-9 for a cutscene. If you have already completed all Treasures of Aht Urhgan Missions through ToAU 46, you will receive a cutscene with Arzizah, Nashmeira, Mnejing, and Ovjang, after which you will proceed to The Endless Sky and then Aphmau's Light and finally Reunited.

Mar 12, 2022 · Examine the Imperial Whitegate when Aphmau is in town. Even if you have passed Passing Glory, there are some missions where Aphmau is not available. You must progress to a mission where she is "in town". Some of these missions include Mission 19 - Sweets for the Soul, and Mission 29 Puppet in Peril. Notes
