Dec 19, 2019 · It's very easy to tell if Cerberus is under Triple (it will change its stance). If you Dispel Triple status, it will go back to normal, though it can still re-cast Triple. The first thing you want to do is Draw some Magic while Dispel-ing Triple status when Cerberus gets it and keeping healed (Draw-casting Triple really helps on the healing front).

Something like 100 of -ga magic to stats like STR, VIT and SPR, and maybe MAG if you're into using magic in this game. Of course, there's way better magic to junction to your stats than the -ga family (firaga, blizzaga, thundaga).

Cerberus does have a level dependent ability, but it's Expend x2-1. ST-Def-x4 only requires ST-Def-x2. If it hasn't shown up, but you have *learned* (rather than merely gotten access to learn) ST-Def-x2, that means you've either deleted it (unlikely) ... or before learning ST-Def-x2, you filled up all 22 ability spaces, which would've involved using a few ability-teaching items.
