Mar 7, 2018 · Owl Eyes logo with FAU across the top on all three helmets. On the jerseys, I moved the stripe from the original position on the shoulders down to the sleeves. It just felt like it fit better there. On the home and away uniforms, FAU is on the chest, alternate has the stacked Florida Atlantic on the chest. Pants are easy to navigate.

Mar 12, 2022 · Primary owl logo is used on the helmets, and TV numbers are used on the sleeves. Chest wordmark is a simple, stylized "FAU". Secondary Florida logo is used as an accent on the pants + back neckline. First alternate uniform is a navy blue jersey, with red helmets + pants. 2nd alternate is where things get a little different.

Jan 10, 2024 · When USF was founded in 1956 it was the southernmost public university in Florida, hence the name*. By the time FAU and FIU came around in 1961 and 1965 it was too late to change it. *But even back then there was a clear definition of South Florida and Tampa wasn't part of it, so I still don't really get it even though that's the explanation.
