Sep 11, 2010 · if you want to go balls out for dragging, the gsr is your best bet. the SST is very expensive to modify with clutch packs and the fastest mr is the SSP with 525 hp or something. it runs a 12.3- 12.4. a gsr with full turbo back, drop-in and tune runs 12.4- 12.5.. just my $.02 and general knowledge.

Did a quick search on the forum but didn't find much. The specific one I am looking at right now is a 2012 Evo GSR with 100k kms (62,000 miles.) Completely stock expect for the exhaust and slotted rotors.

Looking to pick up and 2008 - 2015 EVO X MR or GSR around 15k - 16k usd. Looking for up-to-date advice on the SST MR transition, MR GSR pricing, mods, or if I should look into a different car: Evo MR. To be honest I prefer the MR Dual Clutch Transmission over the GSR manual.

Jul 11, 2013 · MR: 6 spd flappy paddle. 4B11T motor (291 hp). Same turbo as the GSR. Heavier than the GSR, so if anything, its slower. Eibach spring/Bilstein strut combo. GSR: 5 spd manual. same motor. same turbo. lighter (especially if no sunroof). The stock suspension blows and is stiff.
