Jul 22, 2019 · Edit: emo is such a nebulous term it can basically apply to any introspective music that deals with emotions. The stuff that normally gets labeled "emo" is that big early 00s wave with TBS/The Used/Saosin/MCR/etc and then the post emo stuff that was even more derivative.
