Ella is one of the main protagonists of Sammy & Co and its prequel film A Turtle's Tale 2: Sammy's Escape from Paradise. She is a student in Lulu's class in the reef village located in the Southern Seas, and a granddaughter of Sammy and Shelly.

Escape plans are run and tried by the leading seahorse Big D. Ella and Ricky set out with Annabel and Margaret, the pink octopus mother and daughter in order to rescue their grandfathers, getting chased by a pair of barracudas when they get there.

Mar 6, 2015 · "Ella's Ego" is the fiftieth episode of the first season of Sammy & Co. It premiered on February 29, 2016, on Netflix. When Ella, the reef's best student, loses a school competition to Annabel, she decides to leave the reef, and Big Boss takes advantage.[4]

Sammella is the femslash ship between Samey and Ella from the Total Drama fandom. Sammy and Ella don't interact much during the show, but the former is shown smiling at the latter while she is singing in the plane during the pilot episode of Total Drama: Pahkitew Island.
