Edith Gru, or simply Edith, is the adopted middle child of Felonius Gru and Lucy Wilde. She has an older sister, Margo, and a younger sister, Agnes. She appears in all four Despicable Me films, the attraction Despicable Me: Minion Mayhem and several of the mini movies.

Edith Gru is one of the three tritagonists (alongside Margo and Agnes Gru) of Illumination's Despicable Me franchise. She is a mischievous and tomboyish 9-year-old girl and one of the three orphan sisters who have been adopted by Gru.

During Agnes' birthday party, Edith dons the ninja suit, performing a number of stunts. She, together with two other minions, perform a magic show which is interrupted by Margo when one of the minions whips out a chainsaw.

Even in her ninja outfit, she wears similar boots, but they are black instead of white. In Despicable Me 2, Edith plays table tennis with nun-chucks, a reference to Bruce Lee. She is the first major character with freckles.

Edith is a 9-year-old girl and one of three sisters adopted by Gru. She is a tomboy and interested in weapons like nunchucks. She has appeared in Despicable Me, Despicable Me 2 and Despicable Me 3, as well as the amusement park ride Despicable Me: Minion Mayhem that opened in 2012 at Universal...
