Edirne (US: / eɪˈdɪərnə, ɛˈ -/, [2][3] Turkish: [e.ˈdiɾ.ne]), historically known as Adrianople, is a city in Turkey, in the northwestern part of the province of Edirne in Eastern Thrace.
