Feb 14, 2023 · The “Deku Alone” or “Vigilante Deku” was never supposed to dark or edgy. It’s meant to be a moment where a young hero with power and burdens to resolve a threat strikes out to fight alone and not drag others into his fight. The tattered clothes isn’t Deku “flirting with darkness” or doing bad things.
As someone who adored Deku in the first 4 seasons, reading on …
Dec 24, 2022 · Ironically, the Dark Deku look made Deku look more of a top hero than his current look, in a way that is subversive of All Might's original look of inspiring hope, like the typical yin-yang comparison. As edgy as he looked, Deku felt like the real deal even though that look lasted as long as a sneeze.
Do people still like Deku? I mean with the multiple quirks and
Sep 21, 2022 · Things like these are why I like the idea of spin-offs and whatnot when they run at the same time as the main story, the clearest example is MHA’s own spin-off Vigilantes, a storythat takes place years prior to The world we’ve experienced with Deku this entire time (I honestly loved the spin-off more, it just did so many things …

Why Does Deku’s Costume Look Like This? I’m a moderate fan so I ...
Mar 9, 2023 · From the War Arc, Deku's costume is severely damaged from his fight with Shigaraki. And since he left UA and has a need to defeat Shiggy and AFO quickly, so he doesn't have the time to wait for it to be fixed. The cape was given to him by Gran Torino, but Idk why yet.
Deku being an overpowered chosen one is handled well
deku spent ~290 chapters being focused on getting stronger and his power was the most important part of his character. then it suddenly switched to deku mastering his power (after switching gears and jumping through levels very quickly) and shouldering the burden of it (which would feel better if it was shown before gradually growing, not just ...
My Hero Academia: I hate to say it, but Deku is..........weak
Dec 24, 2023 · That damn "edgy" arc really killed my enjoyment. It was pointless, we don't get nearly enough of what's going on in Deku's head, and HE STILL BELIEVES IN THE SAME HERO SOCIETY! If there was a time, ANY time for Deku to show some deep anger and bitterness for this society and what he's been through, it's now!
I don't think "Dark Deku" (as people call him) is badass at all.
The same people clapping up "Dark Deku" as this uber badass who could solo anyone are the same type of people making posts about Deku being a boring/bland main character because in their trope-poisoned minds, if an MC isn't this dark, edgy, badass who 1-rounds everyone, then they are terrible.
Is Deku becoming too perfect of a character? : r ... - Reddit
VH was for deku to accept his burdens as a one for all users and realise the flaws of soceity and it only breeds evil,(which is dekus Main flaws as a character, him not seeing how soceity for what it REALLY is) thats why he wants to save shigaraki, he wants change society for the better to not make another shiggy, dabi and toga, again His self ...
