Most historical linguists agree that epsilon was pronounced as a short /e/, this sound does not exist in English but is the e in Spanish. I don't mean "Estimated Time of Arrival". I've noticed at the bottom of some posts on either forums or Reddit there's something like "ETA: here's information I forgot to put in before". To me this seems similar to people writing "EDIT: blah blah blah" but they're using a different term now. Is it the same thing? And, if so, why the switch?
