3 days ago · Station 2 is one of Caldwell County's newest EMS bases housing Crews 2 and 6. This base was dedicated December 3, 2020. The district of Valmead base covers the northwestern part of the county, including most of downtown Lenoir up 321 into Patterson Fire and Yadkin Valley Fire district.

Burke County EMS currently operates out of seven stations located throughout the county. In addition to emergency 911 response, Burke County EMS offers non-emergency medical transport to patients that meet appropriate medical necessity. MCEMS provides eight Paramedic level ambulances, three Paramedic level Quick Response Vehicles (QRVs) and one EMS Shift Commander vehicle responding from ten strategically located bases throughout the County and operates on 12-hour shift staffing.

We have three bases in Alexander County. Our main station is located at 2430 Hwy NC 90 just east of Taylorsville. This base houses our training office as well as Three Paramedic crews and a Supervisor Quick Response Vehicle.

Employing 39 full time and 20 part time field paramedics, Wilkes County Emergency Medical Services mans two full-time Bases providing around the clock advanced life support care for the citizens of Wilkes County. Wilkes EMS responds to over 10,000 calls per year.

Caldwell County EMS provides paramedic-level, pre-hospital emergency medical care within Caldwell County. This service is provided utilizing nine Advanced Life Support units 24 hours per day, operating on 12-hour shift rotations from seven stations.
