The 90mm gun is the biggest letdown of the ELC. While it has access to stock HEAT-FS, 90mm HEAT-FS is infamously known to be unreliable. The fuse can be triggered by random objects, it cannot be shot through walls, and the post-pen is mediocre at best.

tl;dr: The AMX ELC bis functions mostly like a mobile and stealthy tank destroyer with the 90mm -- high penetration, alpha damage, and shell velocity make it have excellent hard stats, while limited by very poor DPM, aim time, and gun handling.

The new ELC is already a slow light, no need to makeup a slow light that also doesn’t hit hard. With the 90mm you are a light-td hybrid that can take weird positions and use your high alpha on unsuspecting enemies, with the 75mm you’re just another underwhelming tier 5 light tank.
