Christ among the Doctors is an oil painting by Albrecht Dürer, dating to 1506, now in the Museo Thyssen-Bornemisza, Madrid, Spain. The work belongs to the time of Dürer's sojourn in Italy, and was according to its inscription executed incidentally in five days while he was working on the Feast of the Rosary altarpiece in Venice.

Dürer depicts six rabbis forming a circle in which the central figure is that of the young Christ. The hands of one of the rabbis and those of Christ create the visual focus of the composition due to their position and their highly dynamic and volumetric nature.

Great Passion is a 1497–1510 series of eleven woodcuts plus a frontispiece by Albrecht Dürer. Its title distinguishes it from his later Small Passion. One of the best surviving sets is now in the Albertina in Vienna.

More specifically, Dürer can be seen looking directly out of the canvas to the viewer, in a front-facing position, from the waist up and in perfect symmetry to the canvas.

The panel depicts an episode from the life of Christ - at age twelve, young Jesus goes along with Joseph and Mary on a pilgrimage to Jerusalem. Jesus lingers at the temple and is later found in discussion with the elders of the temple.

Dürer, the premier artist of the German Renaissance, probably began this work shortly before he departed for Italy in 1505 but completed only the drapery.
