Apr 16, 2023 · I downloaded the wiki via Git and edited the draw.io files in vscode. There, I can save the draw.io file as *.draw.png. This can be used by draw.io and vscode extension draw.io to work on the file. All other programs just see the file as PNG, like a browser surfing on the wiki. Same goes for svg.

I looked it up and nothing people say is true. some says that it will default to the last size and font you used in the last box, but that is an outright lie because I change all the fonts in one box, create another, and it defaults back to this tiny font.

Sep 1, 2023 · Lucid and draw.io are good ones IMO. They all have gettinng started templates, rich built-in shapes and connectors, layering, etc. which are helpful for us to describes the software systems in those standards

Oct 3, 2023 · Looking at the draw.io Help files for Import, I can see that draw.io can import Lucidchart diagrams. Then if I look at File > Import in Lucidchart, it looks like it can open Visio files (and Lucidspark and draw.io and omnigraffle, but not PPT or image formats such as SVG). Unfortunately, PPT shapes aren't compatible with Visio shapes, either.

For manual goodness: draw.io or excalidraw Also, writing them out with mermaid is handy for me because I realize to show an idea elegantly the idea must be implemented elegantly. By not having free reign to structure nodes and connections wantonly, I am forced to think about the flow of whatever diagram I am creating more.
