Dooby signed off each show laughing and saying 'Dooby Dooby Dooby Dooby Dooby Quack Quack'.

Jan 7, 2024 · Found out that Doobieduck RIP passed away on December 26th 2023. What a loss for the community. I haven’t been on IC for a while (coincidentally have been stopping by the past few days) I remember always enjoying his pictures and projects that he had going on. The hummingbird shots were really cool. RIP brother. Aweee. Bumma.

Dooby Duck was originally designed by master puppeteer Roger Stevenson in 1981 and made his debut in the 1985 Christmas Pantomime Babes in the Wood starring Les Dawson at the Palace Theatre Manchester. He literally stopped the show and was given his own series on the BBC – Dooby Duck’s Disco Bus.

Dooby Duck Dooby was originally designed in 1981 but made his debut in the main stage act in the 1985/ 6 Christmas Pantomime 'Babes in the Wood' starring Les Dawson at the Palace Theatre Manchester. He appeared in 'The Ghostbusters' sequence and literally stopped the show.
