Djeneba Seck (born 1970) is an African singer and actress born in Bamako, Mali. Her family's roots are in Kita, [1] a town famous for its music. In 1986 she met Sekou Kouyate who took her on as a backing vocalist for his band. They had a hit song called "N'Kadignon Ye". [2]

Djénèba Seck (née en 1970 à Bamako) est une chanteuse malienne [1]. Djénéba Seck est née d'un père infirmier d'État et d'une mère sage-femme d'État. En 2006, elle décroche un Tamani d'or lors de la 3e édition des Trophées de la musique au Mali [2]. Ses albums les plus connus sont : Manghoya Foura (2012).
