Apr 21, 2017 · My disc reader has a small button on the faceplate. It can be hard to see. I press the button and - voila! - the tray opens and I can put in the disk. Another press on the button and the tray closes. Then I give the disc a few seconds to spin up and be recognized by Windows. I myself do not have Autoplay enabled because I like to do things myself.

Feb 27, 2016 · I do not understand your question....I have the same problem....cd loaded to drive....nothing happens...cd drive is not visible on File Explorer. I am using this Windows8 OS. If you can help, great....if you can't I shall seek elsewhere for wisdom....as this problem seems to be greater than for me only. Thanks in advance, for some wisdom.
