Jan 26, 2018 · Used 150 grit sandpaper and followed up with 600 grit W&D for the final finish. I have done this for the whole gun so far but used 1200 when getting a final finish. This was the first attempt using the dremel. Its scary, it shreded the metal and took ages to sand. I will be more careful with it from now on.

Apr 2, 2014 · You are quite adept at adding electronics, but for my Denix, I would prefer there to be no electronics. I have already sanded and polished the majority of my Denix to remove as much of the pitting from crappy casting as possible, as well as about half way through reshaping the hammer/trigger.

May 14, 2016 · I should add you will have to clean up the left side of the Denix where DEC milled off the Denix logo. I used some emory cloth to even things out then sanded to 400 grit. you can use paint or aluminum black, whichever you prefer.

Feb 13, 2024 · I used a disposable nail file (5-6 of them) I would have preferred a fine sand paper but I was all out. I partially sanded the furniture and then used a torch lighter to create the burnt look. I even went as far as flossing my gums really hard and spitting my blood all over it.
