Adam, The frames for the front and rear walls are screwed to the base. The side walls don't have a complete frame, just cross-members that go between the front and rear walls at the floor, window edges, and roof line.
Does anyone have some plans for a 4x6 deer stand??

Dec 9, 2011 · i have just finnished to deer blinds made out of square tubing one is 8 ft whith center boat seat and shooting rails 360 degre shooting. i desinged it to be taken down and fit in the back of a pickup all you need to put it up is a cordless drill. if you want i can send you some pics it is by far the sturdiest stand i have seen . total cost was under $200.00

I want to build a one man blind, the floor about ten feet off the ground and a box with a rail to rest the rifle. My issue is whether to use long lumber or shorter pieces and how to brace it. Sort of thought I'd put it together at home with screws- number everything, take it apart and then re-assemble it in the field.

my last box stand i built is bout 4 1/2' off ground half height of normal stand & in middle has cut out for extended area to put feet, so can stand up ta stretch. am sure few will figure out what trying to explain, & have seen one like it.

Jun 9, 2010 · Thanks for the info on building a blind. I'd like for this to be a roomy 1 man blind, maybe 4 x 6. However, I want to be able to disassemble it so it will fit on a small trailer. I want to be able to put it back together by myself without a lot of effort at the lease.
