Jan 25, 2011 · Does anyone run a decat aftermarket header with standard ECU ?? Just wondering if this is possible without any long term damage because it might run a bit lean. I would love to try a decat header but as per my other thread, can't justify the cost of Kpro, mapping and fares to the mainland.

Oct 16, 2014 · In the back of my mind, I am wondering if I went for a decat as well and then a map tweak, is it going to make much difference. The car is pretty awesome as it is but going for a decat, will it transform the car or just make a small change?

Apr 4, 2019 · A very cheap mod at only £80. That only made the exhaust note louder and its not really a performance mod. I still wasn't satisfied with the exhaust note (tbf i had an M135i with a decat that sounded epic) so I decided to go with a sports cat so it wouldn't have any hassle when it came to MOTs and it would set me up for a Stage 2.

Just need to get it fitted! hehe. With a bit of luck it'll all work. All i need to do is cut up my K&N Typhoon CAI when it's fitted so i can attach the filter.

Jan 15, 2009 · 2.5" High Flow KENOBI Metal Cat - CIVIC/INTEGRA/DC2/DC5 | eBay Click to expand... my bro put a high flow cat in his integra, its costly but it keeps the flow rate of the decat and keeps the emisions down for its mot. they're a good bit of kit but not really necessary as you could just swap out your cat and decat at mot time.
