Oct 13, 2021 · Davoth could still be alive like the Father is - who had his life sphere destroyed - just not in physical form. Pretty sure it's the Mark of the Primevals. Well, physically, he is the slayer. He is " [the slayer] in their world", being identical in terms of strength and appearance.

In the DLC, we find out that the mark is actually originally Davoth's, appearing on his back among his tattoos. Anyone resurrected in the Luminarium is brought back in their "original form" (Book of the Seraphs VII codex), so we know with certainty that it was his mark to begin with.
