Aug 26, 2023 · The first superhero I've been exposed to as a child (2003 movie version, believe it or not). In my tiny little child brain, he was so fucking cool. Then my friend introduced me to western's superhero comics and coincidentally, the first comic I picked up was Daredevil. The more I read, the better I like him.

Apr 16, 2021 · I'm gonna be honest; I consider Daredevil the best Superhero adaptation in live-action period. I think it best captures the spirit of the Miller and Bendis comics back in the day in its characters, aesthetics, style, tone and themes. And it did some very unique interesting things.

Daredevil helped change the entire landscape of comics in 1978 when Frank Miller came on board. Comics were not that brooding back then. You might have had the occasional dark moments in Denny O'Neil's Batman or Chris Claremont's X-Men (which didn't really get dark until the Dark Phoenix Saga in 1980).

Daredevil in my mind is the most inspiring superhero because he is the most vulnerable, and the most human! Beyond the rad super senses and physical feats of brutal violence and death defying acrobatics, his most important “power” is his indomitable human spirit and will power.

Daredevil, Jessica Jones, Luke Cage and Iron Fist. The idea was to set them all in the same world and have crossover cameos and to build to a Defenders series. Last I heard, the 4 individual series were locked in, but the team-up was dependent on the success of the first 4.

The movies are still the bread/butter of Marvel Studios, so these shows aren't gonna get the same care/attention as the movies. Sure but big budget quality TV can be done (Game of Thrones...

Dec 6, 2013 · I am excited. Daredevil I think is hands down one of the best superhero shows. It's grounded. It's the adult superhero. It's realistic. I can take it seriously. Not that I don't enjoy most of the MCU films. I always found it hard to believe that the Netflix (series when it was all but confirmed) that it co-existed with the MCU.

Jan 8, 2022 · Daredevil's best features were fantastic, but it had serious issues. A lot of the minor characters were pointless or annoying, each season had at least a few episodes worth of content that could have been cut to make the whole product a lot more streamlined, and the Hand/Elektra storylines were a total misfire.

Jan 2, 2022 · Daredevil is the best tv show I have ever seen, so much emotion and heart. I know we all enjoy the Marvel humour (well it gets very tiresome sometimes) but Daredevil playing it straight, dark and gritty was such a brilliant decision.
