Otherwise converting to rear disc brake on a pickup truck you're likely not going to be rallying would not yield any advantage.

Jul 27, 2010 · The problem with only one bottle is the increased amount of fluid the Dana 70 and 80s have over the 60. Seen enough of the 70s eat up the clutches by not adding enough slip lube. When I service any 70 or 80 min amount is 1 1/2 bottles in the 70 and 2 in the 80.

Nov 3, 2018 · I have two Dana 70 axles. One is a '96 out of a Ram 2500 12 valve. The other is an '02 out of a Ram 2500 24 valve. The 96 has the Power Lok limited slip with drum brakes. The 02 in an open diff with disc brakes. Ok here's the big question... Is it possible to take the Power Lok out of the 96 and install it in the 02?

I've read a lot of threads about using 3.07 gears in different trucks but I'm confused because of all the different rear ends in the different years and so on. I don't want to change the whole rear end.
