I met Dan Hughes 2002 during the World Slalom Championships in Morro Bay. We talked and he told me that he visited the opening of the new Pipeline Skatepark in LA. Dan now has a website where he shows great photos of various skateparks he visits all over the place.

The construction fence was open and it looks like the landscaping work is all that is left. I don’t know if it’s officially open or not, but people were skating. I was also stoked to see some “diamond grind” coping. The rest of the photos are on my web page.".
