Tank 1h & shield - does sword, dagger, mace, or axe matter?
I perfer sword dabulls but you can also use an axe the mace and dagger are kinda pointless for a tank to use. Athenas Heir VR14/tank Athenas touch VR1/healer #5
Dagger & Axe - does it matter which one is in your main hand?
I've got several sets where I have a dagger and an axe, missing the second dagger. If I am going to run Nirn main hand and precise off hand does it matter if the axe is primary or secondary. i.e. Nirn dagger main + precise axe off hand or Nirn axe main + precise dagger off hand I would assume its just the bleed proc, anyone know if there is any difference between these two setups?
dagger/axe or axe/dagger does it matter o.O - Elder Scrolls Online
Mar 30, 2018 · Main hand procs more often than the off hand. On one character I have Infused Dagger with Weapon Enchantment main and Sharpened Ax with poison off hand. I want the dagger main because I don't need the ax to proc its bleed so often but the dagger procs things like increased critical hit.
PvE Stam DPS dual wield: 2 daggers or 1 dagger and 1 axe?
Aug 12, 2017 · In my opinion axe + dagger is better for constant DPS in trials, dagger + dagger when you want higher and more reliable burst in short fights like vMA and vDSA. The only exception are builds that can't reliably proc the axe bleed, but I think there aren't any of those left in the current meta.
Daggers vs. Swords vs. Maces vs. Axes - Elder Scrolls Online
Axe's and Dagger's are not really as class specific as Sword's and Mace's. Axe's do provide a decent amount of DoT, which could be good when trying to apply pressure ( I have heard the DoT goes though Shield's instead of damaging Shield's. Not sure if this is true or not.). Dagger's just give you some more critical chance.
Twin Blade and Blunt, dual sword or sword + axe?
Sep 12, 2016 · Correct. I forgot to mention, for short bursty fights, 2x daggers is better. Dagger/axe is for sustained damage. But it's a hassle (and expense) to build for both cases, so I personally just build for the harder content--yes, stuff like axe/dagger and TBS aren't quite optimal for easy content--but, well, it's easy content, so it doesn't really ...
Greatswords, swords, mauls, maces, battleaxes, axes or daggers?
Mar 21, 2021 · PvE Players use daggers anyway and in PvP almost nobody builds for crit. Probably most Axe users in PvP had Proc Builds with malacath Band. Both Swords and Maces are better in PvP now. Axes should get one of their bonuses too. Also dont know why it was so bad that axe bleed can continue after weapon swap.
Weapon Differences? - Elder Scrolls Online
For instance: in Dual Wield, I can use: 2 Daggers Sword and Dagger Mace and Dagger Axe and Dagger 2 Swords Sword and Mace Sword and Axe 2 Maces Mace and Axe 2 Axes Are there any inherent differences between a Dagger, Sword, Axe, and Mace other than aesthetic? I am also wondering this about the 2 Handed Weapons as well.

Dec 9, 2020 · Dual Wield PvE: Axe/Dagger or Dagger/Dagger PvP: Axe/Mace or Mace/Mace Looks: Dagger/Dagger or Sword/Sword Axe gives decent bleed. Daggers give crit. Daggers give crit. For trash packs and AoE I'd always use double …
Axe, Sword, Mace — Elder Scrolls Online
In ESO a mace is exactly the same as a sword or axe or heck even a dagger. Boring as hell, unimaginative, unintuitive when you consider what each weapon can do, and just fail. After you read about how other games handled weapons and damage types you look at what ESO has done and you wonder if they ever bothered to think about it at all.
