Dec 1, 2018 · A problem with replacement DMC 504 is that despite its official analogue is 3813, in my chart the latter stands as a separate colour. Does anybody know what I can use instead of 504 under such circumstances? Thank you in advance for any advice.

Mar 22, 2014 · At the moment, you may find 504 in the 504 bin, and both 3813 and 3813 (504) in the 3813 bin. If the stores are smart, they'll put some 3813 (504) in the 504 bin when all the old 504 is gone, but you may want to print this list and keep it in your wallet. We question how well the news will trickle down from DMC to local craft shops.

Jan 9, 2009 · Ok, all you DMC-ers, I have a quick question. I have a few colors that have the number on the skein, and then a different, smaller number in parentheses beneath it. The color in parentheses looks about identical to the original skein.

May 3, 2009 · So as I was going through all of this I have discovered that there are some # that just don't make any sense. I have 110, 213, 903 and 3945. All of these are DMC numbers and I know this sence I always cut the number off of the paper tag that is on the skein when I buy them. But I have researched and I can not find any mention of these anywhere.

Feb 6, 2010 · I have a few anchor to DMC conversion charts. Anchor 856 = DMC 370 on one chart. Anchor 856 = DMC 3011 on another chart and 3 other charts have no mention of the anchor 856 When I am doing a conversion project, i try and use the one chart for the whole conversion because some have differences and not swap between charts if possible.
