Mar 3, 2006 · So if I attach a lens without cpu contacts does this happen also? I don't know, but in one of these DIY plunger lens articles the guys says to cover up the lens contacts with electrical tape, or the camera body won't function correctly.

From some basic research I think the prism is dirty, but I'm not sure. Youtube suggest I should remove the Fresnel lens to access the viewfinder internals...
