      Nov 19, 2006 · Both the 222 and 224 are are "type II" dbx units. The 150 is a professional, "type I" unit. Dbx type I and II are fundamentally incompatible with each other. Type I was desinged for professional Open reel decks runnig at 15 IPS, and really requires exceptionally flat HF response extending beyond 20Khz, and also exceptional HF headroom.
