Comparison between SR22T and DA42 VI - Check my numbers
Mar 23, 2016 · DA42 Fuel Burn: 10.3 SR22 Fuel Cost: $61.60 DA42 Fuel Cost: $43.78 This would be an easier comparison if we could see what the fuel burn is for an SR22 at 190kts. Close to 16gph? Either way, the SR22 has better speed and better range but DA42 seems at least on par with fuel burn. Given the price difference between JetA and 100LL the DA42 gets a ...

Apr 11, 2024 · For 200 hours a year, that’s in the neighborhood of 80k a year, not including the biggest single cost, cost of capital (net difference between owning a depreciating airplane versus the money in an index fund) and presuming no major mishaps. I do love it! Very capable aircraft that can take me all over Europe, at a fraction of the cost of a ...

1,800 Hr Inspection Costs - diamondaviators.net
Oct 18, 2020 · Where the AE330 (E4P-C) engine of the DA62 requires more frequent parts replacement than the AE300 (E4-A, E4-B, E4-C) engines of the DA40NG/DA42NG/DA42-VI, I always assumed that this was because Austro is still collecting engine history and experience with the fleet for the higher HP engines -- that have only been shipping since the DA62 was ...
DA42 for rent - Pilots of America
Mar 17, 2008 · An FBO near me just added a G1000 DA40 and DA42 to their line. Block rates are $150/hr for the DA40 and $280/hr for the DA42. The price on that twin seems steep to me. Of course, diesel costs are sky high, and the DA42 isn't exactly a cheap aircraft. Do you know of any other place that...
CD 135 with clutch replacement options - diamondaviators.net
Dec 23, 2020 · I have a DA42 with the CD135 (with clutch not flywheel) engines. I am looking at hitting the TBR late next year, and I am trying to wander my way around replacement options. It seems like I can now replace this with CD155's, but I can't find if the STC was ever issued. If true can anyone throw out an approximate cost in the US.
DA62 or DA42 - diamondaviators.net
May 8, 2022 · Having owned a DA42-VI for 4 years, and now a DA62 for five years, get the DA62 if you can afford the capital cost difference. Maintenance is the same, since all the systems are virtually identical. While performance is similar, the DA62 is definitely more comfortable, spacious, and hauls more.
