D35, D21 & J4 is a producing conventional oil field located in shallow water in Malaysia and is operated by PETRONAS Carigali International Sdn. According to GlobalData, who tracks more than 34,000 active and developing oil and gas fields worldwide, the field is located in block D35, D21 & J4, with water depth of 174 feet.

The operator of the PSC is PETRONAS Carigali Sdn. Bhd. (PCSB). The D35, J4, D21 fields are located about 135 km northwest of Bintulu, offshore Sarawak. The main activities are oil production enhancement, redevelopment infill drilling and various facility-refurbishment projects.

Dec 22, 2023 · The MoU covers the scope of potential evacuation of production from Block SK405B through D35/D21/J4 Production Sharing Contract (PSC) facilities, Post 1976 Balingian PSC facilities and Bintulu Crude Oil Terminal operated by PETRONAS Carigali.

The D35 field is located in Balingian Basin, approximately 135km North-West of Bintulu, Sarawak, with a water depth of approximately 47 – 54m. The field produces oil accompanied by water and associated gas. D35 has been in operation since 1994, which operatorship was handed over to PETRONAS Carigali Sdn. Bhd. (PCSB) on 31 July 2005.

Oct 29, 2024 · A part of the Balingian PSC prior to 1 January 2014, the newly created D35-D21-J4 PSC contains three fields offshore Sarawak, and is operated by Petronas Carigali. In April 2014, Roc Oil announced that it had reached a deal with Petronas Carigali to take a 50% interest in a new PSC covering the D35, D21 and J4 fields.

A flexible gas pipeline was installed from the D35A complex to the D35-C satellite platform to deliver high pressure gas, providing gas for injection pressure support and gas-lift. A D21 redevelopment project of 6 wells was completed from October 2020 to April 2021.

Apr 1, 2014 · SYDNEY, Australia – ROC Oil has farmed into 50% of a production-sharing contract (PSC) offshore Malaysia that includes three fields operated by Petronas Carigali. The producing D35, D21, and J4 fields are in water depths of around 50 m (164 ft).

ROC has a 30% participating interest in the D35/D21/J4 PSC, offshore Sarawak. PETRONAS Carigali Sdn Bhd is the Operator and has appointed ROC as the project development manager, responsible for subsurface management, well engineering, new facilities projects and redevelopment project execution.

D35 offshore complex is the biggest cluster of off shore platforms ever developed by Sarawak Shell Berhad to date. The complex is situated off the coast of Sarawak, Malaysia. Sarawak Shell Berhad awarded the detail design work of the whole complex to Keminco.
