The issue we are seeing with those balls is very unique to those balls, in my 30 years of playing I have not seen a mass of clean failures across a single brand happen this way.

Nov 7, 2019 · I read for hours on here about different sets and everyone's impressions. There is a lot of disagreement about skidding issues, some say aramith is worse some say cyclops was worse. When it came down to it I decided they both probably play terrific and I decided I liked the style of cyclops balls more. Particularly the unique looking hyperion set.

Aug 16, 2020 · The first gen. of Cyclops had some issues but this was corrected and they were fine after that. Look at rexus' specs if you doubt it. D'sphere's are as well made as any ball out there. As stated earlier the reason Diamond switched balls is because Cyclop went away when the parent company hooked up with GDM to make Dyna's.

Apr 22, 2016 · The pool hall that I play league in switched to new 3.5'x7' diamonds and skittle colored Cyclops balls. I figured I needed to get used to them so I ordered a set for my house as well. My Cyclops balls have the older translucent cue ball. The cue ball was odd at first, but just seems like another cue ball after a few times playing with them.

Aug 23, 2017 · Cyclops (skittles colors) They are all polished regularly in my Diamond polisher with Aramith ball cleaner, the oldest set is about 4 years old. I also have several Red Circle cue balls that I sometimes use with each ball set, I cant say that I really notice any difference in the way any of the sets play.

Aug 1, 2013 · Myself, Steve Mcdonald and Adrian Wang, the owner of the Cyclops ball company weighed 2 NEW sets of balls in grams. The Cyclops were all around 169gms with a variance from 167-170 the cue ball was @170 gms. The Aramith balls varied from 165 to 169 gms. red circle cue ball was 165 Measle - 167 Cyclops - 170 Overall VERY close.
