May 24, 2023 · My Ctrl+F shortcut has stopped bringing up the find window and the actual find button on the ribbon has also been greyed out and is no longer selectable. Ctrl+F still bring up the find window in excel and every other application on my computer. If anybody had any potential solutions to this, I would greatly appreciate it. Try:-CTRL + H - instead.

Jul 28, 2013 · In an Excel spreadsheet and using the Ctrl F Find box, it almost always works fine but once in a while it will say there are no matches when there is a match. The first thing I do is click on a different cell in the worksheet and try the Find again, in case I was accidentally just searching in a selected area and not the whole worksheet.

May 20, 2024 · Using Ctrl+F does open the navigation pane, which is the Word default setting and cannot be changed. For more information,you can visit this website. Use the Navigation pane in Word - Microsoft Support. Because Word is an article editing component, it's not Ctrl+F like Excel to find specific text to filter and rank.

I know how to use the feature, Ctrl F, to type in text to find and replace with other text, but I keep getting the message that "The searce item was not found." But I see the text I'm looking for. Dec 23, 2023 · Find-in-page box (ctrl-f) always open can't type anything. I tried onscreen keyboard to see if keys stuck with no result, ran troubleshooter for various options, scanned with SFC and DISM, Safe-mode, new User account, nothing works.

For example, I highlight RAD and press CTRL + F. The Navigation Pane opens and shows all the instances of RAD and they are all highlighted (like normal). Then, I highlight the word PRO and press CTRL + F and my highlight goes back to RAD and the Navigation Pane stays on RAD.
